Los Angeles Rams News and Links for 6/5/25

An article was written on Bleacher Report and it’s linked below, and look, I get it, the writer had to come up with a worst trade for every team in the last 10 years. That’s a big task as there’s got to be plenty of options, and for the Los Angeles Rams he ultimately selected Marcus Peters as the worst trade for L.A. in the last decade.

Every NFL Team’s Worst Trade of the Last 10 Years (bleacherreport)

“In Peters’ first season with the Rams, for example, he recorded eight passes defended and three interceptions. However, he also surrendered 732 receiving yards and six touchdowns while allowing an opposing passer rating of 104.2.

Peters never seemed to fit with L.A.’s defense, and he busted more than he boomed. The Rams opted to trade him after just over a year and 22 games, replacing him with trade acquisition Jalen Ramsey the same day.

For the 22-game rental of Peters (and a sixth-round pick) the Rams traded a 2018 fourth-round pick and a 2019 second-rounder. Los Angeles then dealt him to Baltimore for linebacker Kenny Young and a fifth-round pick.”

I’d have to go back and look ever every trade over the last 10 years before I argue this one, but I just wanted to say I really enjoyed Marcus Peters with the Rams. He was fun, he made big plays and the team, including Peters, came so close to winning a Super Bowl against the New England Patriots.

It didn’t happen, and it’s one of the most painful losses I’ve seen as a sports fan, but I loved the 2018 season. I had some personal things going on that year and the Rams, Sean McVay, Jared Goff, all of them, they gave me some joy that year. I’ll always be thankful.

Feel free to comment on whatever you want and happy Thursday! Thanks for checking out today’s Random Ramsdom and thanks for checking out Turf Show Times!

Aaron Donald Challenges Young Rams Star to Try His ‘Old Man Retirement Workout’ (si.com)

“Somebody put the word out—I’m looking for you Verse,” Donald said, having already worked up an impressive sweat. “Come to the house. I just want to talk. Play with a little weights. Do a little cardio. You know, the old man retirement workout. I’ll put you through it, let’s see what you can do. I just wanna talk.”

Jared Verse ready for Aaron Donald workout: ‘Just give me a date and time, and I’m there’ (theramswire)

“The offseason fun between current Los Angeles Rams star Jared Verse and former star Aaron Donald continued this week when Verse publicly took Donald up on his offer to workout together.

Soon after Donald challenged Verse to an “old man retirement workout,” the young Rams edge rusher responded that Donald just needed to “give me a date and time, and I’m there.”

Verse added that if he can finish Donald’s workout regimen, then the retired star would need to do a “young man workout.”

“I’ll show you how we get down,” Verse added.”
