Would be a nice addition for the Bengals.
Even though the prime period for free agency and trades was back in March, teams could still be making moves this offseason.
Pro Football Network recently gave one player that each of the 32 teams could target, with Trey Hendrickson and Germaine Pratt both on the list.
Hendrickson, who is in the midst of a contract dispute despite having 17.5 sacks in each of the last two seasons, is listed as a trade target for the Detroit Lions and Washington Commanders.
Pratt, who requested a trade earlier this offseason, is listed as a trade target for the Indianapolis Colts and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Lou Anarumo, the Bengals defensive coordinator from 2019-2024, is now the Colts defensive coordinator after the Bengals fired him in January.
A trade target for the Bengals? Detroit Lions cornerback Amik Robertson. At just 26 years old, Robertson could be a veteran who helps mentor young players in the Bengals secondary like Dax Hill, DJ Turner II, and Jordan Battle.
Robertson finished 2024 with a career-best 7.2 yards per target allowed playing both inside and outside. He could come in and help the Bengals’ defense limit explosive plays this season while ushering in Al Golden’s new defensive scheme.
