Touchdowns & takeaways from OTA No. 5 | Giants.com
Tight end Greg Dulcich took a pass from Jameis Winston in stride and turned up the sideline for what likely would have been a catch-and-run touchdown and Running back Devin Singletary hauled in a nice pass from Winston up the sideline to start 7-on-7 drills. Tommy DeVito showed good timing and accuracy on a handful of throws, leading to some long catch-and-runs. That included one to undrafted rookie wide receiver Jordan Bly, who won a foot race to the end zone.
A day after Tyler Nubin and Dane Belton had interceptions, Jevón Holland notched another for the safeties to begin an 11-on-11 team period. The former Dolphin spoke last week about establishing himself with his new team.

Practice Report (6/3): Notes from the sideline | Giants.com
After finishing his work on the side as he rehabs a toe issue, Malik Nabers has been positioning himself behind the offense with the quarterbacks and coaches. He sticks his head into the huddle to hear the play calls and then is often talking to the quarterbacks between reps. He is still engaged even if he is not participating in the competitive periods.
Giants Earn Surprising Rank Among Drafting Teams Since 2020 | SI.com
According to Gridiron Grading, the Giants rank ninth among all 32 NFL teams since 2020 in drafting, yet they have a 33.9% win percentage, which ranks 29th out of 32 teams during that stretch, with only one postseason berth.
The Giants are boosted here by spending the 3rd most draft capital during this period and us liking their 1st round picks outside of Neal and Toney. It’s been really ugly once they get into Day 3, though. We’ve liked their draft classes a lot more than what the results show.
QB issue? Probably. Our grades being too high on some of these guys? Also, probably.
Win % (2020-2024): 33.9% — 29th of 32
1 Player Each NFL Team Should Consider Trading Before the 2025 Season | Bleacher Report
It was Schoen who drafted Alabama tackle Evan Neal seventh overall in 2022. But after three mostly horrific years at tackle (including 22 missed games), New York head coach Brian Daboll told reporters that this year the team will try Neal out at left guard. Maybe Neal will pull a Mekhi Becton and blossom after kicking inside. But if he doesn’t, Big Blue should look to flip the contract-year lineman to a team that believes it can salvage Neal’s career.

The Giants’ quarterback development. The Giants have made it clear that veteran Russell Wilson will enter the 2025 season as the starting quarterback. However, is Wilson vulnerable to losing his starting job to a rookie in the same way he took then-Seattle Seahawks free agent signee Matt Flynn’s job back in 2012? Jaxson Dart will likely start the year on the bench, but could college football’s yards-per-pass-attempt leader (10.8) in 2024 make Wilson sweat in OTAs and training camp? Now is the time to monitor the first-team offense snaps at the quarterback position in New York.
Giants Jevon Holland singles out Russell Wilson, Jameis Winston: They ‘speak life’ into group | NJ.com
When appearing on the “SiriusXM Blitz” show Monday, Holland was asked about the impact Wilson and Winston have had on the Giants since they arrived. Holland said the two have been very influential, especially to the younger players.
“Russ and Jameis are just two individuals who have had different paths in the league but have been in the league, been in different systems,” Holland said. “You can just tell a different level of poise and routine day in and day out. You see them doing the same thing pre-practice and the same thing post-practice….“It’s like it almost looks like it’s second nature for those two, and I’m super excited for Jaxson because he has two extremely good vets and two individuals that speak life into everybody around them. You have to raise the youth, and I know those two individuals are going to raise Jaxson into a great quarterback.”
