Philadelphia is adding more WR depth.
The Philadelphia Eagles are signing undrafted rookie free agent wide receiver Ife Adeyi, according to the NFL’s official transaction notice.
Adeyi was not picked in the 2025 NFL Draft after playing two years at Sam Houston State. In 16 total games played, he logged just 37 receptions for 345 yards (9.3 average) and one touchdown. He did have nine rushing attempts go for 76 yards (8.4 average) and a touchdown in addition to returning 10 punts for 63 yards (6.3 average).
The Eagles previously invited Adeyi to participate in their rookie minicamp on a tryout basis. He’s clearly a long shot to make the regular season roster but the Eagles are taking a flier on the small but speedy wideout.
Ife Adeyi is a WR prospect in the 2025 draft class. He scored an unofficial 9.58 #RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 149 out of 3522 WR from 1987 to 2025.

The Eagles had an open roster spot to fill after officially trading Bryce Huff to the San Francisco 49ers. After signing Adeyi, they currently have 91 players under contract, including international exemption Laekin Vakalahi … who doesn’t count towards the 90-player offseason roster limit.
