Your Summer Plans

With summer officially kicking off for most of us just around the corner, I asked:

What are your big or small plans for this summer? Will you, your family, your kids, or just you and your spouse or significant other be heading out of town or even out of the country for a bit of relaxation? Perhaps you have a staycation in mind where you can finally complete that one thing around the house or at home that you’ve been putting off or just haven’t had the time to tackle. Either way, let us know.

Below are some of your answers and plans for this coming summer-

sdphinsfan will be spending a lot of time with or on grass.

Let’s see…golf…cut the grass….golf…cut the grass…teach the grandbaby to golf…cut the grass.

Miami7 has a number of significant events scheduled for this summer. Congratulations to his son and his future daughter-in-law. Happy birthday to everyone celebrating a milestone year.

Eldest son getting married in June.

Best friend’s 40th July 3rd BASH on one-a the Finger Lakes in Western NY.

Wife’s 65th in August.

In between?………creating as much one-of-a-kind wood/epoxy art as I feel like – and hopefully/maybe get a bar design/build along the way too (retirement gig).

Hoping to find – my now 2 year search – dream Classic 1948-53’ Chevy Pickup Truck & have some Summer to enjoy it.

I’m uncluttering this summer. 🙂 Since I finally talked my hubby into moving back to Florida, I am going through my house and getting rid of stuff. It’s time for the great purge!! Townwide garage sale in June to get rid of a lot. Then we are going to have a tag sale when we’re ready to get rid of the furniture etc. So going through the house room to room and deciding what I don’t want to move (you accumulate a lot after living in the same place for 35 years!) is my mission!

Dolfanjoe has a summer of golf, fishing, and throwing away some cash in mind.

golf, fish and gamble a little ! Who to pick for Div. winners, AFC and NFC winners and of course the big game. Maybe a big fiver on each!

Jptapt is heading to Mexico in a couple of weeks for a couple of weeks.

Wife and I are headed to Playa del Carmen in 19 days for a couple of weeks. Good news is the resort’s cable carries the Miami stations. Nice to hear Dolphins news instead of the Bucs.

After that, a couple of road trips around the state during the rest of the summer.

DolphinsKings1 is going to be working hard this summer!

Well for me, I have 6 school days left at Canyon Creek School here in Billings, Montana. I work for First Student as a School Bus Driver. But, I do not get a vacation. I am the Team Bus Driver for the American Legion Baseball teams Billings Blue Jays and Post 4 Blue. I do all of their away trips here in Montana and Wyoming. So my Summer is full till August. Then I can watch some pre-season football and get ready for the 2025-2026 School Year on August 25th. There you go. My Summer!

dedstrk316 will be seeing that new grandbaby, which I am sure is super exciting!

My oldest daughter is coming down from Kentucky for a long weekend first time I get to see my grandbaby

finfanfromsiam is going to drive around and give away money!
