Russell Wilson Talks Decision to Sign Giants Contract, Hypes ‘Superstar’ Malik Nabers | Bleacher Report
Russell Wilson discussed his choice to join the New York Giants in free agency, explaining that the rookie season of wide receiver Malik Nabers factored into his decision.
“New York and this opportunity here to play here, the world’s biggest market, the toughest, one of the toughest divisions in football… a lot of odds against you….I just turned on the film and watching this guy Malik Nabers, man, this dude’s a superstar,” Wilson said during an appearance on 7PM in Brooklyn with Carmelo Anthony. “I saw him, I was watching the film and just before I tried to make decisions, try to get a clear understanding of who the players are, this and that, and obviously you see the highlights and everything else, but when you watch every single catch and every single rep and every play, you get to see the kind of player he is, man, he’s dynamic.”

Biggest remaining offseason priority for each NFC team: Pass-rush help for Lions? Falcons trade? | NFL.com
Top priority: Decide how best to develop Jaxson Dart. As always, it comes down to the quarterback. Veteran free agent Russell Wilson begins the offseason as the starter, but given his lackluster play down the stretch for the Steelers last year, we can’t assume he sticks. The biggest question for the coaching staff is how ready Dart is to see the field. Entering the draft, it was a commonly held thought that he could use a Patrick Mahomes-type redshirt season, and GM Joe Schoen has suggested time on the bench will benefit Dart. However, given that Schoen and coach Brian Daboll are under pressure to win now, they might want to accelerate that timeline to prove to ownership that they can turn things around with the young QB. As we saw last year with Drake Maye in New England, sometimes rookies force their way onto the field earlier than initially anticipated — even behind woeful offensive lines. The 36-year-old Wilson is who he is at this point in his career. Dart brings upside. The key question is if that talent is better tapped by him learning from the sideline or while under fire in 2025.
PFF Offensive Tackle Rankings: Top 32 ahead of the 2025 NFL season | PFF
15. Andrew Thomas, New York Giants. Thomas would likely rank significantly higher if he were able to stay healthy. However, the Georgia product has logged fewer than 1,000 combined snaps over the past two seasons. Thirty-two NFL offensive tackles played more than 1,000 snaps in 2024 alone. After ranking third among offensive tackles with a 90.3 PFF overall grade in his last full season in 2022, Thomas has failed to break into the top 15 in each of his past two short seasons.

Regrading 2022 NFL Draft: Chiefs, Packers’ classes look even greater; Commanders’ high mark plummets to ‘F’ | CBSSports.com
Pete Prisco revisits his draft grades from three years back:
2022 Grade: B+ They had 11 picks and the first nine are still on the roster. That’s good drafting. But the problem is they missed on their second first pick, tackle Evan Neal. He has struggled in his career after being the seventh player picked that year. They did get starters in edge Kayvon Thibodeaux, who was taken fifth overall in the draft, slot receiver Wan’Dale Robinson (second) and linebacker Micah McFadden (fifth). They also have a lot of backups from that draft who have played, including third-round offensive lineman Josh Ezeudu, who has 10 starts, corner Cor’Dale Flott (third), tight end Daniel Bellinger, who came in the fourth and defensive lineman D.J. Davidson, who was taken in the fifth.
How I did: I loved the pick of Neal, which clearly hasn’t worked out. I thought he could be among the best in football. That’s a whiff. I liked the class because of Neal and Thibodeaux and Robinson. I didn’t like the pick of Ezeudu in the third. New Grade: B

WR Odell Beckham’s JR., 2014 (90.8). Beckham’s 2014 season was one of the best in NFL history for a rookie wide receiver. Despite missing the first four games of the year with a hamstring injury, he caught 91 passes for 1,305 yards and 12 touchdowns.
From Weeks 9-17, the LSU product recorded at least 90 yards in every game, passing the 100-yard mark seven times. His 3.14 yards per route run and 14 forced missed tackles in the second half of the season led all wide receivers.
