If you want to be a good team in the NFL, you have to be able to keep your good players. The Miami Dolphins have managed to let some of their most talented players walk out the door these past couple of years and TE Jonnu Smith could be next. The Dolphins have been in talks with the Pittsburgh Steelers about a trade for Smith and it would be disappointing to lose him after how well he meshed with this offense last season. Smith would like to rework his current deal after setting franchise records for the Dolphins in just his first season with the team. But if the price is right, then Miami should probably pull the trigger. They’re probably not going to be contenders as they go through this youth movement that started this offseason.
