Aaron Brewer awarded Miami Dolphins orange jersey award at third OTA session.
The Miami Dolphins wrapped up the work week on Friday by getting in their third OTA session of the offseason on the fields of Miami Gardens, Florida.
While the sun was hot, someone’s practice performance was apparently hotter, as they were awarded the orange jersey award given to the previous practice’s highest contributor.
Who was donning the orange threads this time around?
Starting center Aaron Brewer got the nod!
Brewer figures to be Miami’s lone returning starter along the interior of the Dolphins’ offensive line, as newcomers James Daniels and rookie Jonah Savaiinaea will most likely slot in on either side of him.
Signing with the Dolphins from the Tennessee Titans ahead of the 2024 season, Brewer had some big shoes to fill as the departing Connor Williams was an excellent center during his time in Mike McDaniel’s offense. The new addition didn’t disappoint as he was one of the National Football League’s best centers last season.
If today’s recognition is any indication, he’s apparently off to another hot start in sunny South Florida. Let’s hope he can carry that momentum into another successful campaign for Miami.
