Cincinnati has some help coming back on the defensive side
The Cincinnati Bengals are back in full swing and practicing at Paycor Stadium as the 2025 season quickly approaches.
The team is desperate to get back into postseason play after missing the playoffs in back-to-back seasons.
The front office has brought in a new leader on the defensive side of the football with former Notre Dame defensive coordinator Al Golden taking over.
Golden will be getting a veteran back from injury. Cam Sample has officially been cleared to return to football after suffering a torn Achilles.

Sample missed the entire 2024 season but has appeared in 47 games for the Bengals from 2021-23, tallying five sacks.
Having Sample back will provide another body that can help get to the quarterback and will likely be a key depth piece for Golden.
Sample joins Hendrickson, Murphy, Ossai, and Stewart as guys looking to disrupt opposing quarterbacks during the 2025 season.
Congrats to Cam on his return, glad to see him overcome such a tough injury!
