Las Vegas Raiders owner Tom Brady could team up with the UFL and bring pro football back to Oakland
The Las Vegas Raiders moved from Oakland, California, in 2020 after being unable to make a deal with the city. It was a sad day for Raiders fans, who have now adjusted to the switch, with the team entering its sixth season in Las Vegas.
Plenty of changes have occurred to the organization in that time frame, including Tom Brady’s becoming a minority owner. Brady joined the franchise in 2024 and helped search for the general manager and head coach. Brady was influential in helping John Spytek and Pete Carroll build excitement.
Brady isn’t just stopping with the Raiders. The former New England Patriot is looking to expand his ownership opportunities. One of the latest rumors is that Brady is adding a team to the UFL. That team could either be in Tampa Bay or bring pro football back to Oakland.
#UFL Update:

While it isn’t NFL football, Oakland would welcome a new pro team after losing their three major sports franchises out of the city. The UFL has become a better product over the past few years, with former NFL players having a chance to display their skills and make it back into the league. Brady might be able to get it done if he goes through with the purchase.
