Where did PFF rank the Rams’ top wideouts?

Puka Nacua and Davante Adams were ranked inside the top 20 ahead of the 2025 season

The Los Angeles Rams’ front office has done everything possible this offseason to help the team retain its NFC West crown. Pairing free agent addition Davante Adams with Puka Nacua will hopefully do that and more in 2025. Pro Football Focus placed the Rams duo among the outlet’s top 32 wide receivers ahead of the upcoming season.

PFF’s Trevor Sikkema grouped the wideouts into six tiers, with Nacua landing just outside Tier 1 as the NFL’s fifth-best receiver.

“Nacua missed time in 2024 but still finished with the league’s highest receiving grade at 93.0, pushing his two-year total to nearly 3,000 receiving yards. He’s neither the biggest nor the fastest, but few receivers are more difficult to cover.”

Only A.J. Brown, Justin Jefferson, Ja’Marr Chase and Amon-Ra St. Brown were ahead of him. Despite missing five games to injury last season, Nacua finished just 10 yards shy of his second 1,000-yard campaign to begin his career. The All-Pro’s standout performance came as he helped L.A. overcome a six-touchdown performance from Josh Allen in a shootout against the Bills in December.

The incoming Adams was in Tier 3, alongside other standouts like Mike Evans, Terry McLaurin and Garrett Wilson. Adams has five straight 1,000-yard seasons entering this upcoming season. Sikkema slotted the perennial Pro Bowler at No. 16 in his rankings:

“Adams posted his lowest receiving grade since 2016 with a 76.8 in 2024, a concerning trend as he enters his age-32 season. Still, his elite production over the past five years warrants some benefit of the doubt — especially now that he’ll be working with Matthew Stafford and Sean McVay.”

With Matthew Stafford returning for his fifth season in Hollywood, expectations are sky high in the Rams’ offense. If Nacua and Adams can stay healthy and complement each other well, a Super Bowl run might firmly be in L.A.’s sights.
