
Las Vegas adds key member to the front office
The Las Vegas Raiders have hired Anthony Patch as a senior personal executive.
Let’s get to know Patch better:
Last job:
Patch has been the senior director of college scouting since 2016 and the team has won two Super Bowl titles in that period.
Experience:
Patch has been in the NFL since 2001 when he was with the Miami Dolphins as a intern in the personnel department. Patch started his Eagles’ tenure in 2002 and he had several roles all in the college scouting department.
Reputation:
Patch, who played at Montana, is well respected around the NFL for his work in helping the Eagles build a strong roster through the draft.
Ties to Raiders:
Patch worked with new Las Vegas general manager John Spytek in Philadelphia from 2005-09 in the college scouting department.
The timing of his hiring:
New regimes often make changes and fill out a new front office shortly after the draft, which is the case here with Patch’s hiring
