Another hit to Philadelphia’s front office.
The Philadelphia Eagles are losing another key member of their front office to the Las Vegas Raiders.
Earlier this month, the Raiders hired Eagles senior director of college scouting Anthony Patch to be their new senior personnel executive.
Now the Raiders are hiring Eagles senior director of scouting Brandon Hunt to the position of vice president of player personnel, according to Inside The League’s Neil Stratton.
Hunt originally joined the Eagles in May 2022. They had previously shown interest in hiring him away from the Pittsburgh Steelers back in 2016. Hunt obviously contributed to a pretty successful stretch of Eagles football over the last three seasons. As such, he reportedly interviewed for the New England Patriots’ general manager opening last year.
And so it’s not like the up-and-coming Hunt was set to be in Philly for long. Hard to blame the Raiders for hiring Eagles executives in an effort to turn their franchise around.
Howie Roseman has done well to restock the Eagles’ front office talent pipeline in recent years. The two-time Super Bowl-winning general manager will need to keep it up moving forward.
