And the whole draft class is signed!
While we pass these last few minutes ahead of the release of the 2025 NFL Schedule, we’ve got a bit of good news for fans of the Minnesota Vikings.
#Vikings signed first-round pick Donovan Jackson to fully guaranteed $17.177 million deal that includes $9.422 million signing bonus, plus training camp roster bonuses 2026 to 2028 of $615,775, $1.281 million and $1 million

NFL insider Aaron Wilson is reporting that the first player the purple selected in last month’s NFL Draft, Ohio State offensive lineman Donovan Jackson, has officially signed his rookie contact. The team’s other four picks signed their deals before the start of last week’s rookie mini-camp, so Jackson’s signing means that the entire class has officially put pen to paper.
As Wilson details, Jackson’s deal is a four-year pact with a team option for a fifth year, worth a fully-guaranteed $17.177 million, $9.422 million of which is a signing bonus.
Jackson is expected to step in and become the team’s starter at left guard in 2025, completing an overhaul of the interior of the offensive line that includes former Indianapolis Colts teammates Ryan Kelly and Will Fries. Putting those three with tackles Christian Darrisaw and Brian O’Neill should give the Vikings one of the top offensive lines in football, a position they’ve struggled with for what seems like forever.
Congratulations to Donovan Jackson on officially signing his first NFL contract!
