Breaking down the Bengals’ primetime games in 2025

Under the lights plenty in 2025.

We’ve known who the Cincinnati Bengals will play in 2025, but we now know exactly when they will face off with their opponents this season.

With an offense featuring Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins, it’s no shock that the Bengals got several prime time games and could get more.

As of now, four of their contests are set to be in prime time, so let’s break them down.

Week 4 at Denver Broncos (Monday Night Football)

A rematch of last season’s Week 17 thriller at Paycor Stadium, this time in Denver. After watching Burrow and Bo Nix battle it out last season, the schedule makers liked the idea of a Monday Night rematch in 2025.

With Denver expected to be in the thick of the playoff hunt alongside the Bengals, this could be a very important matchup in terms of playoff seeding come January.

Week 7 vs. Pittsburgh Steelers (Thursday Night Football)

Last season, the Bengals were scheduled to play two division foes on Thursday Night Football, but their meeting with the Cleveland Browns was flexed out. The other meeting was a heartbreaking loss to the Baltimore Ravens.

This season, they will take on Pittsburgh, who, while still questionable at quarterback, will boast a tough defense that could give the Bengals trouble on a short week. Luckily, this game is at Paycor Stadium and maybe a “White Bengal” or “Stripe The Jungle” game.

Week 13 at Baltimore Ravens (Thanksgiving Night)

Another primetime matchup against a division rival, this time to end the Thanksgiving Day slate. Last year’s shootout in Baltimore certainly brought fireworks, and the ratings for this game will likely be sky-high.

Burrow and Lamar Jackson combined for eye-popping numbers in both meetings last season, and we can expect more of the same in 2025.

Week 16 at Miami Dolphins (Sunday Night Football)

Two of the top quarterbacks from the 2020 NFL Draft class will again face off in prime time. The 2022 season brought Miami to Cincinnati, and this time, the Bengals will hit the road to South Beach.

It could be a make-or-break year for both Tua Tagovailoa and Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel, but if they’re in the playoff race, this could also be a very pivotal matchup.

With the NFL’s Flex Scheduling, it is entirely possible that the Bengals could see more primetime matchups. Their Weeks 17 and 18 games against the Arizona Cardinals and Cleveland Browns are to be determined, so those two jump out as potential options as well.
