Good news for the Bengals.
It was a big day for the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday as they saw their second-round draft pick suit up for practice during the rookie minicamp.
Speculation has been swirling surrounding the Bengals as two of their draft picks (including Shamar Stewart) remained unsigned. With plenty of talk around the holdout and the injury waiver, seeing Demetrius Knight take the field was a great sign for the franchise.
Knight took to Twitter to shut down any speculation.
news to me! Had a great practice today and looking forward to practice tomorrow, thanks! https://t.co/64TCNAr6nI

With a rebuilding defense, getting all the reps these guys can early is only going to help them adjust to the new life of pro football. Along with learning the scheme from Al Golden, especially with a need for some production from Knight at the linebacker spot, things seem to be going in the right direction as OTA’s will quickly approach.
Let’s hope they stay that way and Stewart is practicing soon enough.
