Los Angeles Rams News and Links for 5/12/25
Do the Los Angeles Rams have anything they need to address before June? Or at this point is the team good to warn up, and then prepare for any changes that come during the Summer? I am not sure that the team has anything they NEED to do per se, and maybe I have rose goggles on, but the Rams look solid to me.
Are the Rams as good and ready as the Philadelphia Eagles? Well, who really is?
It’s Monday, I hope you had a great weekend and Mother’s Day, please comment on whatever you want and have a great day!
What is the biggest missing piece for the Los Angeles Rams to make a push for another Super Bowl run in 2025? (atozsports)
“The Los Angeles Rams have been gearing up for one more Super Bowl run on the arm of Matthew Stafford, loading up with established veterans on offense and building the defense through the draft.
With free agency and the draft over with, the Rams have done a good job of shoring up important positions on the offensive line, wide receiver, and at linebacker. However, they aren’t a perfect team right now and still have a few spots they have to address. What is their most important missing piece to address?”

Los Angeles Rams rise as Super Bowl contenders with young talents and Sean McVay’s brilliance fueling their championship dreams (motociclismo.pt)
“In the heart of Los Angeles, a new era of football excellence is being ushered in, with the Los Angeles Rams emerging as formidable Super Bowl contenders. The blend of youthful exuberance and seasoned expertise has positioned the Rams not just as a team to watch but as a genuine threat to claim the Lombardi Trophy. As the city buzzes with anticipation, the Rams’ journey from underdogs to front-runners encapsulates a story of resilience, strategic brilliance, and the relentless pursuit of greatness.
The Architect of Success: Sean McVay
At the core of the Rams’ resurgence is head coach Sean McVay, whose innovative mind and leadership have revitalized the team. McVay, who is yet to celebrate his 40th birthday, has already left an indelible mark on the franchise, transforming the Rams from a period of mediocrity into Super Bowl contenders. His journey with the Rams has been a testament to his coaching prowess, with strategies that have consistently outsmarted opponents. McVay’s ability to motivate and extract the best from his players has not only silenced critics but has also reignited discussions about his legacy and the potential for more championships under his guidance.”

3 Rams rank in the top-10 of most pressures by a rookie since 2020 (ramswire)
“ Los Angeles Rams have drafted well on defense in the past five seasons.
Between Braden Fiske, Kobie Turner, Byron Young and 2024 Defensive Rookie of the Year Jared Verse, the Rams have a fantastic core of defensive lineman for Chris Shula to work with for foreseeable future.
Most of that group has especially been great at generating pressures on opposing quarterbacks. Verse, Fiske and Young have generated three of the top-8 most pressures for a rookie since 2020, per The 33rd Team. Verse ranks No. 1 with 77 this past season, while Fiske’s 51 finished tied for sixth and Young’s 50 in 2023 ranks eighth.”
