The Giants now have three rookies under contract
The New York Giants rookie minicamp is under way, and it got started with three members of the Giants’ 2025 draft class signing their rookie contracts.
The Giants announced Friday afternoon that offensive lineman Marcus Mbow, tight end Thomas Fidone II, and cornerback Korie Black have all signed their rookie deals.

Mbow was selected with the 154th overall pick out of Purdue and signed a four-year contract worth $4.167 million, including $417 thousand in guaranteed money. The Giants have said that Mbow will start at offensive tackle — he played right tackle last year for Purdue — though he may yet move inside.
Fidone’s four-year contract is worth $4.349 million with $149 thousand guaranteed. He’ll make $877 thousand as a rookie (per Spotrac), and likely slot in behind Theo Johnson and Daniel Bellinger this year. Fidone has dealt with a pair of torn ACLs, but he’s athletic and offers upside as a blocker and receiver.
Finally, Korie Black’s contract as the 246th overall pick is a four-year deal worth $4.304 million with $104 thousand guaranteed. Black is a long and explosively athletic cornerback, who could wind up being a steal at $866 thousand for his rookie year.
