Random Ramsdom: No QB or CB added in the draft?

Los Angeles Rams News and Links for 4/28/25

The Los Angeles Rams didn’t add a cornerback or a quarterback through the latest NFL Draft, and I’ll admit I am surprised. I am very surprised the team didn’t see a cornerback they liked; however I am not as taken aback that the team didn’t add a QB (I thought that was like flipping a coin).

It’s just interesting and don’t get me wrong, I trust Sean McVay and Les Snead, but what are your thoughts?

Should the team have added a cornerback?

How about a quarterback?

Which player did the Rams miss on that you would’ve wanted them to add?

The draft is over, so now we’ll see what teams do as we prepare for June and eventually the season. It will be here before we know.

Rams’ Konata Mumpfield Is a Bonafide Playmaker (si.com)

“The only reason Konata Mumpfield fell to the Rams in the seventh round is due to the limitations of the Pittsburgh offense. The former Panther adds a new element to the wide receiver room that will keep them in games till the very end.

Looking at his film, sometimes it looks like my five year old cousin is controlling him on Madden, trying to get open. Why? The Panthers did not have a quarterback who could successfully throw a ball beyond 30 yards without it fluttering, so it limited the routes Mumpfield could run.”
