Philadelphia didn’t end up making a third-round selection in the 2025 NFL Draft.
The Philadelphia Eagles were originally set to make a third-round pick at No. 96 overall in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Instead, they traded down with the Atlanta Falcons while they were on the clock. Here are the terms of the deal:
EAGLES RECEIVE — No. 101, 2026 fifth-round pick
FALCONS RECEIVE — No. 96
The Falcons selected Notre Dame safety Xavier Watts, by the way. Watts (No. 48) had a higher consensus board ranking than Eagles second-round pick Andrew Mukuba (No. 72), so, that’ll be interesting to monitor moving forward.
It’ll also be interesting to monitor the career of Charles Grant. The Las Vegas Raiders selected the William & Mary offensive tackle, who had a pre-draft visit in Philly and seemed like a logical Eagles target, at No. 99.
The Eagles were on the clock again and traded down with the Denver Broncos. Here are the terms of that deal:
EAGLES RECEIVE — No. 111, No. 130, No. 191
BRONCOS RECEIVE — No. 101, No. 134
So, no third-round pick for the Eagles this year. Mukuba is their only Day 2 selection.
But the Birds now have some additional and improved Day 3 assets. They’re also now projected to have 12 picks in the 2026 NFL Draft.
The Eagles are now projected to have 12 picks in the 2026 NFL Draft.
