New Former 1st Round CB Candidate For Los Angeles Rams Emerges As AFC Team Cleans House (lafbnetwork)
“Two Browns players believed to be available via trade entering the draft, per sources: CB Greg Newsome and DE Ogbo Okoronkwo,” Schultz wrote on X. “Okoronkwo has recorded 7.5 sacks over the past two seasons, while Newsome — a former first-round pick — is entering the final year of his deal.”
Newsome II has been the subject of recurring trade speculation. Heading into the final year of his rookie contract, Newsome’s name has surfaced in trade discussions, with ESPN’s Adam Schefter recently labeling him as a player who could be “deemed expendable” around the draft.”
Mark your calendars. ️

49ers NFL Draft 2025: San Francisco selects Mykel Williams, EDGE, UGA (ninersnation)
“Williams is a prototypical NFL edge rusher with excellent size and length who played all over the defensive line for the Bulldogs. He’s a strong leader who led by example and did everything the coaches asked of him, including being cross-trained across multiple positions along their defensive line. Williams uses his length to keep blockers at bay before pouncing on unsuspecting ball carriers. He needs to work on his hands and refine his counters off his long-arm and speed-to-power rushes, but Williams has all the makings of a good NFL player, and a good coaching staff should be able to develop him into an impact player quickly.”
