Maybe he can follow Saquon Barkley to Philly in the future.
With the No. 3 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, the New York Giants selected … Abdul Carter, edge rusher, big-time Philadelphia Eagles fan.
Here’s a picture of the Philly native wearing customized Eagles gear while holding the Vince Lombardi Trophy after the Birds’ Super Bowl LIX win:

I’m guessing Giants fans might not love that sight.
Unfortunately for the Eagles, they’ll have to deal with blocking Carter for years to come. This is a good pick for the Giants.
Of course, maybe New York will screw up and fail to sign him to a contract extension down the road. You know, like they did with Saquon Barkley?
Too soon?
Anyway, it’s funny that Carter is now the second NFC East pass rusher who really wishes he played for the Eagles instead of his current team.
The first being fellow Penn State alumnus Micah Parsons, who is currently set to be a free agent after the 2025 season.
