It’s finally here!
It’s that time, folks! The start of the 2025 NFL Draft is right around 30 minutes away, and as we’ve done every other year we’ll be bringing you Open Threads for every round of this year’s selection meeting (more than one if there’s enough activity).
As we’ve mentioned previously, it’s probably going to be a bit of a wait before our Minnesota Vikings are “on the clock” for their selection at #24 overall, regardless of what they do with it. Unless they surprise the heck out of all of us by trading up, that is. I’d be positively stunned if that happened, though.
The purple only have four picks as it stands right now: one in the first round, one in the third, one in the fifth, and one in the sixth. I have a feeling they’re going to end up with more than that when it’s all said and done, but for now that’s what they’re looking at.
As always, we ask you to keep the GIF usage to a minimum in our threads for live events like this, since they could slow things down for people who are looking for the latest news on what the Vikings are doing. If the thread gets enough comments where things start to slow down, we’ll fire up another one and link it in the comments.
In the meantime, however, feel free to use these threads to talk about whatever’s going on at the 2025 NFL Draft.
