The Turf Show Times forum community thinks so
Yesterday, Turf Show Times asked Los Angeles Rams fans and forum members in particular, to share their mock drafts. Now is time to publish the results.
In all, 13 members stepped up and posted their work, while many others commented. Big thanks to those who took the time and effort to share their mock. Joining me were mg050369, RamsRoll, Smithdj43, Shadow9055, WesCoastRams!, Ape Face, JY85, cleve2la46, Lyle, JeffinBranson, PAramsfan1972, delusionalramfanslosteve, and CDNGolfer.
66 different prospects were chosen and if the participants pulse are any consensus, Rams fans want Les Snead to draft cornerback, off-ball linebacker, offensive line, tight end, and wide receiver. For those keeping score at home, that’s 13 different corners, nine linebackers, nine Olinemen (eight tackles), eight tight ends, and eight receivers. Big and fast were the most commonly used descriptors.
“How can you NOT like a 6’5” 225 pounder who runs a 4.30?”
“a home run waiting to happen…who is the big and fast dude?”
“I am a nut for speed. I think the Rams aren’t fast enough.”
“Big, athletic WR who would be a great addition”
“Why not another weapon?”
“… just to grab a fast WR.”
“Didn’t realize my Big Ten Bias was evident”
The results
#26 CB Darrien Porter – Iowa State
#90T Ozzy Trapilo – Boston College
#101 TE Terrance Ferguson – Oregon
#127 ILB Danny Stutsman – Oklahoma
#190 WR Issac TeSlaa – Arkansas
#195 T Logan Brown – Kansas
#201 CB Zy Alexander – LSU
#202 WR Dont’e Thornton – Tennessee
Turns out be a solid group that touches on a lot of needs. The success of this 2025 NFL Draft will be graded on how teams support their current rosters. I would expect more trades up this draft, with teams scrambling for the precious few ready-cut gems. In theory, getting the best player available is often the right path, but teams that can spend a year developing talent and don’t have a huge need for plug-and-play could reap long-term (overall roster) dividends by filling their needs and supporting needy areas.
What do think of this consensus mock draft?
