Los Angeles Rams News and Links for 4/21/25
Right now, the Los Angeles Rams look like the top team in the NFC West, but after the draft this week that could change as the Arizona Cardinals, San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks could draft the right players and overtake L.A.
I think of the three teams named, I wouldn’t be shocked at all if the 49ers found their guys and made a push at the Rams this coming season. Yes, the 49ers didn’t have the best year last year, and they’ve lost some players, but I am not going to count them out.
The Cardinals and Seahawks should be interesting as well.

Hated Rivals’ Draft Compared To Rams’ Successful Rebuild (si.com)
“I haven’t pulled the exact numbers, but they have a boatload of picks in next year’s draft because of the guys that they lost. When you add up the comp picks, they’re going to have a lot of shots at it next year. They’re armed with a good number of picks this year.”
“I would not be surprised at all where they’re picking. They’re sitting there picking at No. 11. If anybody wants to call and come up, I would think they would be more than willing to slide backand get more picks and take more shots at it.”

2025 NFL mock draft: Rams make major trade and add two offensive weapons (theramswire)
“NFL.com draft analyst Chad Reuter unveiled his final seven-round mock draft with less a week before the actual draft kicks off. In it, he had the Rams making a bold trade back in the first round to pick up a second-round pick.
Round 1: Rams trade back to No. 32, take Missouri WR Luther Burden
The Rams move back six spots with the Philadelphia Eagles here after trading the Nos. 26 and 90 for Nos. 32 and 64. This maintains a first-round pick for the Rams but also alllows them to move into the end end of the second round.”
4,000-Yard QB Now Called ‘Prospect to Watch’ for Rams (athlonsports)
“Pro Football Focus unveiled its list of first round fits for each team. Mason Cameron of PFF tabs Jaxson Dart of Ole Miss as the one the Rams should target.
Dart is an interesting choice — considering the Rams restructured Matthew Stafford and his contract during the offseason. L.A. also lured back Jimmy Garoppolo for another season. Cameron, though, writes that the franchise needs to start thinking long term behind center.”

Random Ramsdom Fandom: Does Harold Fannin, Jr get enough love? When should the Rams draft a TE in 2025? (By RamsRoll on Apr 19, 2025)
“The first thing that jumps off the stat sheet is his production in 2024. WOW! The second thing that is impressive is ZERO fumbles in his 3 years of college play.
Now let’s take a look at his You Tube Highlights. Click on this link to view his You Tube Highlights
I glean the following conclusions from his highlights. First he runs good routes. Second he has good hands. Third he is tough to bring down. Also take note that he produces against tough opponents. Check out what he does against Penn State & TX A&M. IF he falls to 90 I would definitely take him there.
Warren & Loveland in all likelihood will be picked before pick 26 & I am not in favor of trading up for either of them. Arroyo & Taylor are projected to be picked mid to late second round. I would not use pick 26 for either of them. Fannin & Helm are both projected to be taken in the mid to late 3rd round. Ferguson is projected to be picked late 3rd round to 4th round. Do you have a favorite? Who is it & why? When would pick him?
I think this year’s TE class is deep & talented. I think it would be a huge mistake if the Rams do not draft a TE this year sometime after pick 26 but no later than pick 127. McVay has said he wants his offense to be more “versatile.” Picking the right TE from this deep & talented class will go a long way towards achieving that goal.”
