Cincinnati is still in desperate need of quality guards
The Cincinnati Bengals and the rest of the NFL are gearing up for the 2025 NFL Draft next week, and they have plenty of needs on the current roster.
The Bengals were somewhat active in free agency bringing in a few positions of need, as well as retaining quite a few of their impact players.
One position of need is offensive guard, as the Bengals are still attempting to crack the code on properly protecting Joe Burrow.
The Bengals will likely draft a guard and then have Cody Ford and others compete for other starting positions, but there is still one name out there that could be of value.
NFL veteran Dalton Risner is still searching for a home this upcoming season and recently discussed his current free agent situation on TikTok Live.
Dalton Risner says he’s “in talks” with multiple teams and mentions the Bengals.
Why this isn’t done yet is beyond me. pic.twitter.com/WzDR8B2Ryz

Risner discussed his situation specifically with the Minnesota Vikings but also hit on some other teams of interest, including the Bengals and Denver Broncos.
I agree with Drew; why this hasn’t been done yet is beyond me as well.
The Bengals have the cap space and still need to give Burrow a stellar line to keep him clean… Risner is a good option who clearly wants it to happen.
We shall see how it unfolds.
