Woodside is returning to Cincinnati.
The Cincinnati Bengals have signed free agent quarterback Logan Woodside to a one-year contract for the 2025 season, the team announced Wednesday.
Originally a seventh-round NFL Draft pick of the Bengals in 2018, Woodside (6-1, 210) has seen action in 13 career regular-season games for Tennessee (’20-21) and Atlanta (’22-23). He spent the 2024 season on Cincinnati’s practice squad. He will be classified as a fifth-year player in 2025.
The Bengals now have three quarterbacks on the offseason 90-man roster, as Woodside joins Joe Burrow and Jake Browning in that room. Browning will be the backup behind Burrow barring an injury, while Woodside will compete for a spot on the practice squad. Browning is set to be a restricted free agent in the 2026 offseason.
A Kentucky kid is staying put.
The Bengals have signed former Franklin County QB Logan Woodside to another one year deal.
