Las Vegas had pre-draft visit with Texas quarterback
The Las Vegas Raiders — unsurprisingly — are investigating quarterbacks leading up to the April 24-26 NFL draft.
They are attending pro days and conducting visits with players at the position. Las Vegas is expected to draft a quarterback at some point. They could even take a player at the position in the early rounds, including at the No. 6 overall pick, despite trading a third-round pick to the Seattle Seahawks last month for new starting quarterback Geno Smith.
So, it’s likely Las Vegas will most consider quarterbacks in the mid rounds. That’s where Quinn Ewers could come into play. The Raiders are one of the teams that Ewers had a pre-draft top 30 visit with.
It has been reported that the Raiders and new offensive coordinator Chip Kelly are fans of Ewers. Do you think he is the right prospect the Raiders should focus on in the draft or you you think it would be a waste of a draft pick to use it on him?
