Chris Simms thinks the Rams should draft LB Jihaad Campbell
The Los Angeles Rams need cornerback and middle linebacker more than any other position in the draft according to ProFootballTalk’s Mike Florio and Chris Simms. Do you agree with them?
“I don’t think you need to look at offense,” according to Simms. “They might need some guys for the future on the offensive line, receivers are pretty good, the running back is special.”
Simms says that while the Rams “aren’t that bad” at cornerback but there could be “some elite guys” at the position still available at 26.
Elite is a stretch, but certainly L.A. has more options for a cornerback at 26 than for a quarterback or a left tackle.
“I think the most pressing need is middle linebacker, somebody that runs around doing blitzing, running sideline to sideline, and at 26 that could be the kid from Alabama, Jihaad Campbell.”
Simms cites Campbell as arguably the Rams best bet at pick 26. Do you agree?
