The Bengals’ running game definitely can use a boost.
The Cincinnati Bengals will welcome one of the 2025 NFL Draft’s most coveted running backs to the Queen City for a top 30 visit this week.
Per a report from ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, the Bengals will host Ohio State running back TreVeyon Henderson at some point this week.
Henderson ran for 3,761 yards and 42 touchdowns in four seasons at Ohio State, earned First-team All-Big Ten honors in 2023, and this past season helped lead the Buckeyes to a National Championship by rushing for 1,016 yards and 10 touchdowns while making 27 catches for 284 yards and a touchdown out of the backfield.
The 5-foot-10 running back has already met with the Dallas Cowboys. The Bengals also hosted Henderson’s backfield teammate Quinshon Judkins for a visit.
After trading Joe Mixon to the Houston Texans, the Bengals’ run game ranked just 30th in the NFL this past season, averaging just 92.6 yards per game. Only the New York Jets and Las Vegas Raiders were worse.
Thus, finding a running back to have on a rookie deal for four years to compete with Chase Brown and Zack Moss makes all the sense in the world, especially with the Bengals inking Tee Higgins and Ja’Marr Chase to long-term extensions.
Other top 30 visits on the books for the Bengals include sit-downs with Judkins, South Carolina defensive back Nick Emmanwori, William & Mary offensive tackle Charles Grant, and Ole Miss defensive tackle Walter Nolen.
