Random Ramsdom: Will Bucs trade back with L.A.?

Random Ramsdom: Will Bucs trade back with L.A.?
Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

Los Angeles Rams News and Links for 3/28/25

The NFL Draft isn’t here yet, and plenty of people are trying to guess what will happen and one theory suggested that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will trade back with the Los Angeles Rams as L.A. moves up in the first round. Is that going to happen? I mean, anything can happen, but until things do happen it’s all speculation and it’s all in good fun.

Though, I think most are ready to actually see decisions get made as opposed to people playing general manage from their couch.

Feel free to comment on whatever you want, thanks for checking out Turf Show Times and have a great Friday!

Buccaneers predicted to pull off head-turning trade with Rams (sportingnews)

“That being said, a new prediction has the Buccaneers pulling off a head-turning trade with the Los Angeles Rams.

Luke Easterling of Athlon Sports has projected that Tampa Bay will trade down from No. 19 overall with the Rams. As part of the trade, the Buccaneers would end up with the No. 26 pick, although the rest of the trade details were not revealed. He did mention that Tampa Bay would also received a “couple of extra picks.”

In his prediction, Los Angeles would move up to draft Michigan tight end Colston Loveland. As for the Buccaneers, he has them snagging Boston College edge rusher Donovan Ezeiruaku with the No. 26 pick.”

Los Angeles Rams celebrate quarterback legacy as Kurt Warner and Norm Van Brocklin shape NFL history while Matthew Stafford’s future remains uncertain in franchise search (motociclismo.pt)

“The franchise history is deeply intertwined with the evolution of the quarterback position. Over the years, the team has been shaped by exceptional signal callers whose performances have helped define significant moments in NFL lore. In particular, the contributions of two greats—Kurt Warner and Norm Van Brocklin—underscore the transformative impact a top-tier quarterback can have on an organization.

Kurt Warner’s Pioneering Rise

Warner’s ascent is marked by groundbreaking achievements. He became the first quarterback to throw three touchdowns in each of his first three career starts, setting the stage for a storied NFL career. His efforts culminated in a Super Bowl run where a decisive touchdown pass affirmed his status, earning him MVP honors during one of the league’s most memorable championship games. His accolades include two league MVP awards and record-setting performances in high-stakes postseason contests, with one game featuring a then-record 414 passing yards that set new standards for playoff excellence.”

An Intriguing NFL Draft Option for the Rams (si.com)

“Marco Enriquez of the Pro Football Network recently released his mock draft with predictions for each teams’ first and second round selection. Enriquez believes the Rams will again focus on the defensive side of the ball in the draft by adding another young and talented player to the roster.

The Los Angeles Rams appear to be transitioning to a youth movement. They added a wave of young defensive talent in 2024, and in Round 1, they grabbed Nic Scourton, one of the youngest defensive players in the draft,” Enriquez said.”
