Philadelphia continues to do homework on OL prospects.

Time to add another prospect to BGN’s Philadelphia Eagles’ pre-draft visits tracker leading up to the 2025 NFL Draft.

The Birds will soon be hosting Ohio State offensive lineman Donovan Jackson at the NovaCare Complex, according to Tony Pauline.

Jackson is the No. 67 prospect ranked by Pro Football Focus and No. 31 ranked by Daniel Jeremiah.

He’s the sixth known player with tackle experience to have a pre-draft visit with the Eagles. But Jackson might play guard in the NFL.

His college snap counts by position per season (via PFF):

2021 — LG 25, RG 61, RT 8
2022 — LG 827
2023 — LG 825
2024 — LT 529, LG 286, RT 1

Jackson began the 2024 season at left guard before an injury to starter Josh Simmons prompted him to shift over to left tackle. The transition sure didn’t slow the Buckeyes down from going on to become national champions.

The Eagles could conceivably draft Jackson to compete with Tyler Steen for the starting right guard job.

Scouting report via NFL.com’s Lance Zierlein:

Broad-framed three-year starter with core power and leg drive to hold the line of scrimmage or change it. He can stick and sustain in-line or on the second level and is a plus finisher. Jackson has the athleticism for all tasks as an outside-zone blocker. He is also able to accelerate and lead the way on long pulls or counters. He leans against stunting/slanting fronts, and he can be tardy in opening his hips and activating his feet for recoveries. He’s long but punches with wider hands and struggles to consistently maintain his edges when mirroring. Overall, Jackson has the measurables, power and movement for any scheme as a starting guard.
