Do the Los Angeles Rams have a top-5 wide receiver duo in the league?
Where would you rank the wide receiver duo of Puka Nacua and Davante Adams compared to the rest of the league? It’s expected and not unrealistic that Nacua and Adams will create one of the best wide receiver duos in the NFL once the playing season takes flight, but are they the best?
Despite the possibility the two bring, the Los Angeles Rams do not have the best wide receiver in the league on their roster as that title goes to Justin Jefferson and the Minnesota Vikings. L.A. doesn’t even have the best wide receiver duo in the league as you could easily argue that goes to Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins.
The Philadelphia Eagles may even have the better wide receiver room than L.A. with A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith.
Still, the Rams showed last year they don’t need the best receivers in the league, as they had a stellar season with an injured Nacua and a declined Cooper Kupp. So no, the Rams don’t have the best tandem in the league at the time of this writing, but I think you could make the case they are in top-5.
My top-5 wide receiver duos in the league:
- Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins
- A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith
- Davante Adams and Puka Nacua
- Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison
- Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams
Honorable mentions:
- DK Metcalf and George Pickens
- Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle
Your list(s) can be different! I expect that these names will need to be changed after we see a few regular season games, or some teams could need updated after the upcoming draft.
