10 of Philadelphia’s top 30 visits have been identified so far.
Time to add three more prospects to the Philadelphia Eagles’ pre-draft visits tracker leading up to the 2025 NFL Draft:
- William & Mary OT Charles Grant (source: Justin Melo)
- Texas RB Jaydon Blue (source: Jordan Reid)
- Miami (FL) EDGE Tyler Baron (source: Tony Pauline)
Let’s sort through this news on a player-by-player basis.
CHARLES GRANT
Grant is the No. 97 prospect ranked by Pro Football Focus.
He logged 41 starts exclusively at left tackle in college from 2021-2024. He was PFF’s highest-graded Division I FCS offensive tackle last season.
Grant is the fifth known player with tackle experience to have a pre-draft visit with the Eagles. The Birds are clearly doing their homework on blockers.
Scouting report via NFL.com’s Lance Zierlein:
Highly consistent performer with elite length and better technique than many prospects coming from a higher level of competition. Grant played with both urgency and positioning in William & Mary’s zone-heavy approach, but he needs to add bulk and improve his pad level to play with the drive and anchor needed as a pro. The former high school wrestler utilizes a bag of tricks with his protection approach and possesses adequate core strength to absorb a speed-to-power pass rush. He could develop into a solid pro as either a guard or tackle if he cleans up issues with hand usage.
Athletic testing data not available.
JAYDON BLUE
Blue is the No. 126 prospect ranked by Pro Football Focus.
The 21-year-old played at Texas from 2022-2024. He logged 214 carries for 1,161 rushing yards (5.4 average) and 11 touchdowns during that span. He also had 56 receptions go for 503 yards (9.0 average) and seven scores.
Blue’s clearly on the smaller side for his position at 5’9”, 196 pounds. As such, he projects as a rotational back as opposed to a bell cow ball carrier.
The Eagles could have interest in Blue as a Day 3 addition to their running back room behind Saquon Barkley and Will Shipley.
Scouting report via NFL.com’s Lance Zierlein:
Blue played behind very good backs, so his carry count is lower, but he clearly has talent. He’s a narrow-hipped, linear runner with good speed to threaten wide and attack downfield out of the backfield. He has adequate wiggle in the open field but lacks base strength to break tackles. Blue’s lack of tempo and vision inside gets him behind schedule and could limit how teams use him as a ball-carrier. While he can be labeled a “change-of-pace slasher,” his real value will revolve around his ability to mismatch linebackers and threaten defenses as a receiver out of the backfield.
Jaydon Blue is a RB prospect in the 2025 draft class. He does not qualify for a #RAS due to a lack of measurements.

TYLER BARON
Baron is the No. 153 prospect ranked by Pro Football Focus.
Relatively speaking, he’s on the older side considering he turns 24 in October. Baron played four years at Tennessee before suiting up for Miami (FL) last year.
Playing in 61 college football games, Baron logged 39 TFLs, 19 sacks, and two forced fumbles.
The Eagles have been showing interest in edge rusher prospects leading up to this year’s draft. They could be looking to add Baron to their rotation.
Scouting report via NFL.com’s Lance Zierlein:
Fifth-year senior with the size and athleticism for consideration as an edge defender in odd or even fronts. Baron plays with clear eyes to read play development and locate the football but possesses just average upper- and lower-body strength to battle the block. He doesn’t create fear with his rush quickness or skill level but he’s an active worker with a slippery upper body that could foreshadow improvement in rush efficiency with more work. He moved inside as a sub-rusher at Tennessee, which could create an additional layer of alignment versatility. Baron projects as a middle-round edge prospect whose ceiling could be tied to his ability to become a more consistently disruptive force.
Tyler Baron is a DE prospect in the 2025 draft class. He scored a 9.32 #RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 125 out of 1829 DE from 1987 to 2025.
