Random Ramsdom: Les Snead could trade first pick for more selections

Random Ramsdom: Les Snead could trade first pick for more selections
Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

Los Angeles Rams News and Links for 3/18/25

The Los Angeles Rams have a first round pick for the second year and row, and the questions are will the Rams keep that pick, or trade back for more picks? Could Les Snead and his team decide to trade up?

No one knows, but as we get closer and closer to the draft there will be more rumors and more ideas up until we finally see what decisions are actually made. Then, we will be able to respond to those decisions as well! The cycle goes on.

Please comment on whatever you want, thanks for checking out Turf Show Times and have a great Tuesday!

Recent 2025 draft fodder could see the Rams get abundantly rich in first round (ramblinfan)

“Some mocks have even projected Burden outside of the first round. And, that seems just plain crazy.

Luther Burden would be a “rich get richer” type of pick for the Rams

Do the Rams need a wide receiver? No, not necessarily. But, would it be a fun world to live in where they end up with Burden? Absolutely.

Think about it this way. The Rams signed Davante Adams to a two-year deal. He’s getting older. He still has the ability to be productive, but he is getting older. Puka Nacua is the one you know will be around for the long haul.”

Rams 2025 NFL Mock Draft Roundup: Projections after initial wave of free agency include inside linebacker, edge and cornerback options (rams.com)

“The first wave of free agency has passed, and saw the Rams re-sign some of their own (Alaric Jackson, Tutu Atwell; agreed to terms with Ronnie Rivers), bring back a familiar face (Coleman Shelton) and bring in external additions (Davante Adams and Poona Ford).

In terms of departures, two inside linebackers signed elsewhere – Christian Rozeboom to the Panthers and Jacob Hummel to the Ravens – as well as one outside linebacker, with Michael Hoecht going to the Bills.

Following those moves, here’s what the latest expert projections are for the Rams at pick 26 in the 2025 NFL Draft.”

Davante Adams May Have Been the Catch of the Offseason (ktla.com)

“At the end of February, it sounded as if the Los Angeles Rams could be in the midst of a rebuild or the Aaron Rodgers sweepstakes — two weeks later, they were operating with optimism,” Soppe said. “Back is Matthew Stafford, and while Cooper Kupp was officially released, the addition of Davante Adams should more than cover that loss:

Adams: 182 targets, 1,654 receiving yards, and 16 touchdowns.

Kupp: 75 targets, 632 receiving yards, and 0 touchdowns.

“Those are the 600-route pace numbers put forth by these two veteran receivers over their final five games with their former employer. Stafford has been a WR elevator his entire career and if can help Adams sustain the level of production that we saw down the stretch of last season, this team is one to fear,” Soppe said.”
