The Dolphins matched three other teams with four total compensatory picks.

The NFL announced compensatory picks for the 2025 Draft on Monday, with the Miami Dolphins landing four additional selections.

Miami will be on the clock for pick No. 98 — the second-highest compensatory pick, trailing only the Minnesota Vikings’ selection at No. 97, the first compensatory pick of the third round. The Dolphins lead off the fourth-round compensatory picks at No. 135 overall. They also added two seventh-round selections — No. 253 and No. 256.

The Dolphins matched the Dallas Cowboys, San Francisco 49ers, and Baltimore Ravens as the only teams with four compensatory picks. Miami was in line for a pair of third-round selections due to the massive contracts signed by Christian Wilkins and Robert Hunt. However, Wilkins fractured his foot, limiting him to just five games and reducing the compensatory pick to the fourth round, according to Over The Cap analyst Nick Korte.

The seventh-round picks were awarded due to the two-year contract DeShon Elliott signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers and the two-year deal Cedrick Wilson Jr. signed with the New Orleans Saints. The reason for the other compensatory pick is . According to OTC, the additions of Jordyn Brooks, Kendall Fuller, and Aaron Brewer negated the departures of Andrew Van Ginkel, Brandon Jones, and Raekwon Davis.

Miami now has 11 picks to work with when the draft begins on April 24:

  • No. 13 (First Round)
  • No. 48 (Second Round)
  • No. 98 (Third Round, Compensatory)
  • No. 115 (Fourth Round)
  • No. 135 (Fourth Round, Compensatory)
  • No.151 (Fifth Round)
  • No. 156 (Fifth Round, Bradley Chubb Trade)
  • No. 226 (Seventh Round, Chase Claypool Trade)
  • No. 233 (Seventh Round)
  • No. 253 (Seventh Round, Compensatory)
  • No. 256 (Seventh Round, Compensatory)
