Morgan Moses drawing interest from Bengals

An intriguing development.

The Cincinnati Bengals just re-signed Cody Ford to a two-year deal, and it doesn’t sound like they’re done yet when it comes to the offensive line.

According to The Athletic reporter Diana Russini, the Bengals are among several teams interested in New York Jets offensive lineman Morgan Moses.

This is a somewhat surprising development, as Moses has played offensive tackle throughout his NFL career, while the Bengals have Orlando Brown Jr. and Amarius Mims seemingly set to lock down both tackle spots for the foreseeable future.

The 6-foot-6, 320-pound Moses started 14 games at right tackle this past season, earning a 63.3 grade from Pro Football Focus. That’s where he’s spent the strong majority of his career, with some occasional time at left tackle sprinkled in.

Russini notes that the Jets are working to re-sign the 34-year-old Moses, who is also drawing interest from the Washington Commanders, Kansas City Chiefs, and New England Patriots.

It’s hard to see the Bengals making this move, but the real question is why they’re interested in the first place.
