As our Miami Dolphins progress through the offseason, they will continue to work to build or rebuild the roster to be more competitive. Well, at least that’s the hope. An essential part of this process should include thoroughly evaluating the players already under contract. Some players need to be gone like yesterday, others should remain to fill their current positions, and some might need to stay but be given a different role or even be moved to entirely different positions.
According to Pro Football Focus, running back De’Von Achane could be one of those players moved to another position. According to an article (HERE) this week, a move to wide receiver could benefit the team. PFF sees De’Von as a versatile/hybrid player. Some reasons for their idea are Achane’s ability to gain yards after the reception (only second to Ja’Marr Chase in 2024), his lack of ability to effectively pass block, and Jaylen Wright’s ability out of the backfield. I encourage you to go to and read the complete article to read their full explanation.
So, after reading or at least scanning over PFF’s article, today’s question of the day is: Do you believe that our Miami Dolphins should consider moving De’Von Achane to wide receiver or not, and why or why not?
