The Bengals lock up one of Joe Burrow’s favorite weapons.
NFL free agency has begun across the NFL as players start looking for new homes for the 2025-26 season.
The Cincinnati Bengals have made several moves to this point already but finally made a major move Saturday to bring back a key piece to one of the best offenses in the league last season.
According to a report by Ian Rapoport, tight end Mike Gesicki has agreed to a deal to return to the Queen City next season. It will be a three-year deal worth $25.5 million.
Gesicki is coming off a solid first season with the Bengals, catching 65 passes for 665 yards and two touchdowns.
It was somewhat of a bounce-back year for the 29-year-old tight end, as he totaled the most receptions and yards he had had since the 2021 season when he was with Miami.
With Tee Higgins now franchised tagged and Gesicki back in the fold, Zac Taylor and this offense look prepared to make some more noise on the offensive side of the ball this season.
Now, let’s take a poll: How would you grade this signing for the Bengals? Let us know in the poll and comments below!
