The Lions franchise WR is not happy with how things have gone down for Tee so far
The Cincinnati Bengals front office has their hands full this offseason after an incredibly disappointing 2024 season.
The Bengals are due to extend three superstar players on the roster: Tee Higgins, Ja’Marr Chase, and Trey Hendrickson (in no particular order).
Bengals Director of Player Personnel Duke Tobin has made it clear he hopes and is actively working to get all these extensions done this offseason, though it appears things won’t work out with Hendrickson since the team gave him permission to speak out a trade.
The Bengals placed the franchise tag on Tee Higgins for the second straight season to buy themselves more time for an extension and prevent him from hitting free agency.
With that being said, the national media has grilled the front office for placing the tag on Higgins for the second straight season.
Even the Detroit Lions franchise wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown has chimed in on the Higgins situation and made his opinions on the matter pretty clear.
“That should be illegal. I don’t give a f*** what nobody says. That’s so f****d,” St. Brown exclaimed on his podcast.

It is still uncertain what the Bengals will do with Tee, but it would be a horrible look for the franchise if the front office does not get a long-term deal done.
