Many fans think it’s top need after quarterback
As new general manager John Spytek takes over the Las Vegas Raiders front office, there is a clear top need as the team looks toward building the roster in free agency next week and in the April 24-26 draft.
Yes, quarterback, quarterback, quarterback.
There is no debate that the Raiders badly need to solve their issue at the most important position on the field. But that’s not where their issues stop. las Vegas has plenty of needs and holes to fill.
We recently asked our community members what position, other than quarterback do they want to see the Raiders address the most this offseason.
The fans have spoken and they want to see a new running back brought to Las Vegas after solving the quarterback position.
In a poll with 979 votes cast, 403 voters (41 percent) want to see a running back added. Cornerback came in second at 18 percent, while offensive tackle received 12 percent and guard and wide receiver received 11 percent of the vote.
It makes sense that fans want a running back. The Raiders struggled badly at the position in 2024 as they tried to replace Josh Jacobs, who went to Green Bay in free agency. Zamir White failed as the starter and the team dealt with a lot of injuries at the position.
So, there is no doubt this is will be an area of need this offseason.
