Star pass-rusher thinks veteran will have bounce-back season
Maxx Crosby has never shied away from giving his opinion and less than a week from NFL free agency, the Las Vegas Raiders star defensive end has chimed in on who he’d like to see the team sign at quarterback.
While appearing on his podcast, The Rush, Crosby indicated he wants to see the Raiders sign Aaron Rodgers in free agency.
Crosby said he believes Rodgers, who will turn 42 in December, will have a bounce-back season in 2025 as he continues to recovered from an achilles injury.. “I think he’s going to have a big year this year,” Crosby said. “And I hope … it’s in our town.”

The Raiders have been connected to Rodgers in free agency. However, in recent days, the media speculation has centered around the team’s interest in other free agents such as Sam Darnold, Justin Fields and Russell Wilson.
It’s unknown how the Raiders’ brass views Rodgers. It’s clear, though, Crosby is closely watching the Raiders’ plan at quarterback. The Raiders and Crosby are expected to discuss adjusting his contract this offseason because he doesn’t have any more guaranteed money on his deal.
So, Crosby has a chance to let the team knows his feeling at the quarterback position. It will be interesting to see if they are on the same page. Yet, even if the Raiders don’t add Rodgers, the team and Crosby can surely agree on keeping him in town by re-working his deal.
