The Buffalo Bills reportedly are happy with wide receiver Amari Cooper but it might be difficult to keep him.

Cooper, 31 next season, is a pending free agent. Could he be one-and-done in Buffalo?

Analysis from Pro Football Focus makes it appear that it might be difficult for the Bills to keep him.

Despite admitting Cooper has had some struggles with drops and injuries after he was traded to Buffalo in 2024, Cooper is still held in high regard by PFF.

On PFF’s free agent rankings for the 2025 NFL offseason, Cooper is named the seventh-best in football regardless of position played. Among receivers, Cooper only sits behind Cincinnati Bengals wideout Tee Higgins who holds the top-overall slot.

In eight games played in Buffalo, Cooper had 20 catches for 297 yards with two touchdowns.

PFF’s full breakdown on Cooper heading into free agency can be found below:

Even at 30 years old, Cooper will be an attractive option for teams looking to improve at wide receiver, having earned a PFF receiving grade above 70.0 in every full season he has been in the league. He struggled with drops in 2024, though, failing to bring in 15.4% of the catchable passes thrown his way in the regular season.
