The Ravens have the 27th pick in April’s NFL draft and could be looking to land an elite offensive tackle. Baltimore has pressing needs at the edge rusher and offensive tackle positions and must decide on Ronnie Stanley in free agency. Daniel Jeremiah is holding his first NFL draft-related conference call one week before the start of the Scouting Combine, and he was asked about Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta potentially trading up for an edge rusher.

Jeremiah stated that there’s a lot of depth at pass rusher and defensive tackle, and Baltimore can be patient and potentially look toward Round 2 for that need.  Jeremiah thinks if the Ravens trade up, it’ll be for an elite offensive tackle.

Baltimore will have the 27th overall pick in the first round, one spot ahead of the Detroit Lions and just behind the Los Angeles Rams. The Ravens have picked at No. 27 twice in franchise history, selecting wide receiver Rashod Bateman in 2021 and cornerback Jimmy Smith in 2011.
