Would you like to see Las Vegas add San Francisco wide receiver?
The 2025 NFL offseason is just getting started and there have been reports and rumors of several interesting players who may be on the move in the coming weeks.
Recently, ESPN reported that the San Francisco 49ers have given wide receiver Deebo Samuel permission to see a trade. A trade can be agreed upon at any time, but it can’t be made official until March.
Trading Samuel likely won’t be easy for San Francisco because of his contract. He has a salary-cap number of nearly $16 million. So, a restructured contract may have to be part of a trade or the 49ers may be forced to release Samuel.
Samuel, 29, has been known as a versatile weapon. But he may be on the decline. He has dealt with injuries and his conditioning has come into questioh and his numbers have slipped.
Still, he can be a valuable piece to an offense in the coming seasons and the Las Vegas Raiders certainly could use some more offensive weapons.
