Burton has also reportedly found a new place to live.
For the second time in as many months, Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Jermaine Burton was evicted from his apartment, per official records from the Hamilton County Clerk of Courts.
BengalsTalk.Com’s James Rapien provided the details leading to Burton’s second eviction, saying it was over a guest having dogs in the apartment.
“Burton had a family member staying at his house when he was out of town. The family member brought their dogs with them, which didn’t comply with the rental agreement. The landlord found out and sent the 23-year-old an eviction notice a few days later.”
Rapien added that Burton has since found a new place to live.
Burton had a rough rookie year with the Bengals after being selected in the third round and 80th overall in the 2024 NFL Draft. He made just four catches, going for 107 yards.
The third-round pick was a healthy scratch multiple times, including after he was a ‘No Call, No Show’ for a Saturday walkthrough ahead of the Bengals’ Nov. 3 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders.
If Tee Higgins leaves in free agency, the hope is for Burton to step up into a much larger role next season, but it is to be determined if he will be trusted enough to earn that expanded workload.
