Super Bowl LIX: Eagles vs. Chiefs final injury report

Super Bowl LIX: Eagles vs. Chiefs final injury report

Brandon Graham among 3 players ruled questionable.

The Philadelphia Eagles issued their third and final official injury report of the week leading up to Super Bowl LIX against the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Eagles ruled one player OUT: Britain Covey.

The Eagles opened Covey’s 21-day practice window to return from injured reserve back on January 22. But apparently he’s not ready to play despite being a full participant in practice all week. Cooper DeJean will continue to handle punt return duty.

The Eagles ruled three players QUESTIONABLE: Brandon Graham, Nick Gates, and C.J. Uzomah.

Graham was upgraded to full participation on Friday, which seems to bode well for his chances of playing on Sunday. The Eagles have until 4:00 PM Eastern on Saturday to activate Graham from IR.

Gates, who is usually a healthy scratch, popped up on the injury report this week with a groin issue. Seems like the Eagles will put him on IR and activate Graham to the roster.

It remains to be seen if the Eagles will activate Uzomah from IR.

DeVonta Smith, Jalen Carter, Zack Baun, Landon Dickerson, Cam Jurgens, Dallas Goedert, and Kenny Gainwell are all set to play despite appearing on the injury report this week.

They’re ready to roll.

DeVonta, who is dealing with a hamstring injury, was notably limited in practice all week but he’s listed without a game status.

Carter is reportedly ”feeling much better” after being sick this week.

Gainwell has officially cleared concussion protocol.
