New York Giants assistant GM Brandon Brown to interview with Jacksonville Jaguars

Brown one of several candidates for Jacksonville GM job

The Jacksonville Jaguars have reportedly requested permission to interview New York Giants assistant general Brandon Brown for their general manager vacancy.

Brown interviewed twice for the Las Vegas Raiders job earlier this hiring cycle, but the Raiders chose John Spytek for that opening.

The Jacksonville job came open late in the hiring cycle when the Jaguars fired Trent Baalke in order to facilitate the hiring of Liam Coen as head coach.

The Jaguars have also reportedly requested permission to interview several other candidates. Among them are Chicago Bears assistant GM Ian Cunningham, Tampa Bay buccaneers assistant GM Mike Greenberg, Los Angeles Chargers assistant GM Chad Alexander and Cincinnati Bengals executive Trey Brown.

Brown was hired by Giants GM Joe Schoen in 2022, Schoen’s first offseason with the Giants.

Last offseason, Brown had two interviews with the Chargers and Carolina Panthers for their GM openings.

The 35-year-old Brown obviously remains a sought after young executive despite the Giants’ struggles the past two seasons.
