After the Baltimore Ravens were eliminated from the postseason by the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Divisional playoff, Lamar Jackson expressed his desire to see Josh Allen win the Super Bowl.

With the Ravens out of the running and tasked with picking a rooting interest, Buffalo seemed like a good, sentimental choice as that franchise went to four straight Super Bowls in the 1990s but won none of them.

However, Kansas City eliminated Buffalo in the AFC title game, which meant Lamar had to find a new side to pick.

The K.C. Chiefs could be due to his close friendship with wide receiver Marquise “Hollywood” Brown.

Marquise Brown posted photos of the Chiefs’ AFC title celebration, including one of him hoisting the Lamar Hunt trophy.

Jackson re-posted this photo as an Instagram Story (as captured by Athlon Sports) and captioned his post with the emojis “Congratulations, bro, let’s get it” and “heart and hands together.”

Brown and Jackson were teammates in Baltimore from 2019 to 2021, and you have to love the support that the reigning NFL MVP is showing for his friend here.

If Brown and the Chiefs win, they would become the first franchise ever to win three straight Super Bowls.

While many NFL fans currently have Chiefs fatigue and would thus root for anybody but Kansas City, Lamar is not one of them.
