The Bengals receiver is set to get a massive contract.

The Cincinnati Bengals’ Tee Higgins is the best player set to hit free agency, according to Pro Football Network.

The 26-year-old wide receiver was ranked ahead of Kansas City Chiefs right guard Trey Smith, Philadelphia Eagles pass rusher Josh Sweat, Tampa Bay Buccaneers receiver Chris Godwin, and Los Angeles Chargers pass rusher Khalil Mack, among others.

Higgins has missed some time due to injury but, as the football site noted, he still ranks 10th in success rate (59.8%) and 13th in touchdowns since joining the league in 2020. And his 4,595 receiving yards are 18th in the NFL in that timeframe.

There’s no doubt the Bengals will try to keep Higgins in Cincinnati, but if projections of his contract are accurate, they may find it too expensive.

Of course, if Joe Burrow has any say, he would definitely vote for re-signing Higgins.

We talked about how the QB made a statement about the value of his WR2 by making him the focal point of the passing attack in the biggest game of the season against the Denver Broncos.
